( Please send me messages about this scenario. I hope to provide more
  scenarios later )

By the late 1960's, the United States Navy had a nuclear-powered aircraft
carrier, USS Enterprise ( CVN-65). Its escorts were also nuclear-powered,
USS Long Beach, USS Bainbridge, and USS Triton. A nuclear submarine, USS
Sturgeon has been included in this scenario as I couldn't use any earlier US
SSNs.

Operation "Sea Orbit" was conducted to demonstrate the global reach of this
nuclear-power fleet.

Your Carrier Air Wing is composed of a variety of warplanes : some of them are
accurate to the period, others have been added to fill in the gaps, and to
provide a chance to use some little-used planes.

The A-6E should NOT be equipped with : Harpoon, HARM, Paveway LGBs.
Walleye PGMs ARE ALLOWED.

You escorting warships should NOT use any Harpoon or Tomahawk missiles.

The F-8, SH-2, and SH-3 are older systems without some of the advantages of
more modern system.

Ignore the names and locations in this scenario. I just used whatever was
available to make a playable scenario, rather than looking for geographical
accuracy.

When the scenario starts, generate a Ferry mission from the airbase to the
carrier. Launch all of the available F-4E and A-4 warplanes to go to the
carrier. This is because the Scenario Editor wouldn't let me add them to the
carrier when I wrote the scenario. While playing the game, the computer may
not always let you return the planes to the carrier. In this case use the
airbase, otherwise use the carrier as I have intended. Consider that it might
have a damaged plane on the deck, or you don't have enough fuel to return to
the carrier and the airbase is much closer.

Now to the mission............

You have to destroy any RED ships, submarines ( yes there ARE some ), and
destroy BOTH enemy airbases ( shooting down all of their aircraft in the
process )

One possible tip is to use your escorting CGNs to shoot down the attacking
planes instead of risking your F-8s until the F-4s are ready on the flight deck.

Don't get fixed on the surface ships and airbases - there are a couple of
surprises in there... waiting to put a torpedo or missile into plans
( and carrier and cruisers and warplanes )

If you lose the carrier, it is all over. ( Your life, career, carrier,
several hundred million dollars, etc, etc. )

Send me any messages with your comments on this scenario.
